Bernard Ross


Bernard Ross is Director of The National Arts Fundraising School. For over 20 years, he has acted as a fundraising consultant to a wide range of bodies in the arts and cultural world, including the Scottish Opera and the Photographer’s Gallery. He regularly consults on fundraising projects for leading organisations such as UNICEF, NSPCC and Cancer Research UK. He is currently leading a major project to secure funding for arts and cultural agencies in the Arab world.

He is co-author of The Influential Fundraiser– listed as one of the top five non-profit books for 2009 by the New York Times Online. His latest book Global Fundraising was published in April 2013.

Jules Bellingham

Jules Bellingham

Jules Bellingham is a Senior Partner Consultant at =mc and Deputy Director of the School. She originally came from a commercial background and was then Deputy Director for Fundraising at one of the UK’s largest children’s charities, Action for Children. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in fundraising and specialises in foundations, sponsorship and communication skills. Jules coaches fundraisers in presentation, communication and influencing skills.

Her current =mc customers range from Marie Curie to the Museums Development Network.

Dana Segal

Dana Segal

Dana Segal is Deputy Director of the School and an =mc Senior Partner Consultant specialising in strategy and fundraising in the Arts and Cultural sector. She has worked with a wide range of artists and organisations across theatre, music, visual art, galleries, museums and local authorities. Dana was one of the inaugural AFP Fundraising Fellows and holds a PG Cert in Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy from the University of Leeds. Specialisms include developing fundraising strategies, individual giving, case for support and fundraising proposals, as well as delivering fundraising training and mentoring.

Her current =mc clients include Southbank Centre, York Museums Trust and music charity Rhythmix.
