Live from NAFS: Dana’s blog (Day 2)

One of the most powerful words in fundraising is ‘imagine’.
Imagine if you could change this today.
Imagine if you could stop this forever.
Imagine if you could make this happen.”

Day two at the National Arts Fundraising School kicks off with Director of the school, Bernard Ross, encouraging our attendees to re-imagine their own fundraising capabilities by talking them through the art of relationship fundraising* – the key to any successful fundraising activity.

Dana's live blog day 2

Something we ensure that attendees develop are the competencies to ask the right questions, think critically and find ways to improve and develop their performance. So beyond imagination, we use lots of real life case studies of fantastic organisations that The Management Centre has worked with, ensuring that all the advice and theory they get on the course can be implemented and tested out in real life as they go along. When is the last time you donated to a charitable cause to see how they respond? It’s one of the best things you can do to learn what works, what doesn’t work, and what can be improved.

So to conclude today’s blog, I’d like you to consider the following:

Imagine if you could change the way you grow and build relationships forever.

Imagine if you could transform the way you write, speak and listen.

Imagine if you could unlock your organisations potential.

Imagine….
