Dominic Haddock
Having just taken on a new organisation, a fundraising team, and a major festival to raise funds for, NAFS came at the perfect time in my career to give me the strategic overview, skills and confidence to deliver significant financial results.

Director of Development & Communications
English Touring Opera

Who we are

Founded in 1976 as an annual summer music festival, for over 40 years Spitalfields Music has been putting music at the heart of East London.

How the NAFS team helped

This was my first Director role at a large organisation — leading a whole fundraising team to achieve a significant target for our annual festival.

NAFS came at the perfect time — it gave me the strategic tools I needed to effectively plan, manage and deliver on our major fundraising campaigns.

It gave me the confidence to steer my fundraising team to success. As important it gave me the confidence to take on a new bigger challenge as the Director of Development & Communications at English Touring Opera, running their fundraising and marketing teams.
